A Level Piece - Gatherings

I explored gatherings and wanted to focus on parties and the energy that they bring. I tried to make the pictures look as busy and lively as possible by using lots of brushstrokes. I put a blue ground down and then painted the people focusing on people in the background and then I worked towards the foreground. I wanted to create a darker nighttime atmosphere which is why I used cooler colours.
